洛阳市第二实验中学简介

洛阳市第二实验中学围绕教学中心，完善了“强化基础，巩固提高，全程统筹，层次推进，知识递增，学有所长”的教学指导思想，确立了“强化知识学习，突出能力培养，促进全面发展”的育人模式，以素质教育为核心，以创新教育为导向，努力提高学生的知识修养和实践能力，走“规范+特色”的办学之路，育“合格+特长”的优秀人才。

洛阳市第二实验中学拥有一支现代化教师队伍，在岗教师220余人，有高级教师42人，中级教师43人，获得或在读研究生学历47人；有特级教师2人，省级教育专家、骨干教师、学科带头人4人， 洛阳市名师2人，市教研室中心组成员3人；有国家级模范教师1人，国家级优秀教师2人，省级优秀教师9人，市级优秀教师、模范班主任、师德标兵、劳动模范73人。学校现有教学班61个，在校学生3700余人。学校南北两个校区均位于行政文化商业中心，建设有办公楼、教学楼、实验楼、学生公寓、体育馆、游泳馆、田径运动场、音乐美术教室、多功能报告厅等教学设施。

洛阳市第二实验中学以“创建一流实验示范学校”为奋斗目标，教育教学质量极大提高，先后荣获国家“教育部重点课题实验学校”、“河南省教育系统先进集体”、“河南省文明学校”、“洛阳市示范性高中”、“洛阳市高中教育目标管理先进单位”等称号。

A brief introduction
to Luoyang No. 2 Experimental Middle School
Luoyang，the capital city of many ancient Chinese dynasties and a city of peony, is the birthplace of the Chinese civilization. Luoyang No.2 Experimental Middle School, deeply rooted in the fertile soil of rich historical and cultural resources, derives essence from the Chinese civilization and absorbs nutrition from the national spirit. For 40 years, teaching experience has been accumulated by generations of teachers, and knowledge、thoughts and lights has been disseminated here.
Centering on teaching, Luoyang No.2 Experimental Middle School has improved and perfected its guiding ideology of teaching---consolidation of the basis to improve, co-ordination to advance and increased knowledge to equip, and has established its education model---to strengthen knowledge-learning, to highlight capacity-building and to promote all-round development. Quality-oriented education is considered as the core of education and innovative education is also regarded as its guidance. The school is dedicated to enrich the student’s knowledge and improve their practical abilities, to run the school under the idea of “normative & distinctive” and to foster “qualified & unique” talented students.
There is a group of well-qualified teachers, including one national model teacher, two national excellent teachers, two special-rank teachers, two provincial teaching experts, nine provincial excellent teachers, two famous teachers in Luoyang, three members of Teaching and Research Organization in Luoyang, forty-two senior teachers, forty-three medium level teachers and thirty-seven teachers with Master Degree. What’s more, there are seventy-three excellent teachers in total with varieties of municipal titles, such as municipal excellent teacher, model of teaching morality, working model and excellent head teacher. There are sixty-one classes in total, with more than seven thousand three hundred students. Both two campuses are located in the new and old political, cultural and commercial center separately, with a lot of equipped teaching facilities such as office building, classroom building, experiment building, students’ apartment, indoor stadium and swimming pool, standard soccer field, music house, drawing room and lecture hall.
Luoyang No.2 Experimental Middle School aims at creating a first-grade experimental model school. The teaching quality has been improved greatly.
